Jenn has been enjoying an active lifestyle since 2011 and has been a certified Instructor since 2013.
Growing up, Jenn was never a particularly active or health focused individual. Quick fix diets, short lived workout plans and unhealthy eating resulted in weight gain and being overly body critical. Since having kids and changing her career path, Jenn has embraced fitness and learned how to appreciate what a strong, confident body looks like. Her goal is to spread the joy of being fit & healthy and having body confidence to her clients and members.
Jenn has been with Me First Fitness since 2014 and in that time has completed several certifications and gained experience working with various populations (beginners, fitness enthusiasts and active agers). Now in her early 50’s, Jenn is recognizing the changes that come along with getting older and Perimenopause. Jenn is currently focusing on adding to her education by becoming a Certified Menopause Coach and finishing her Nutrition certification (finally!)

Sports: Playing badminton and squash (although I am terrible at it), Watching hockey and football (to appease husband)

Favourite Food: Gourmet tasting menus, Sushi, Mac & Cheese (Tim’s version), Chips
Favourite books: Currently into Young Adult fiction (in an unofficial book club with my daughter)
